Acrobat X is outdated and not compatible with Windows 10, so any update to the latter might "break" it. You should make sure you update Acrobat to the latest version available I have been running 10x pro on win 10 for a very long time without any problems. I had to redo my computer and now all of a sudden i have problen crashing.
If you remade the computer you probably lost the update. There is a bug but Adobe fixed it many years ago. Still, since Windows 10 changes all the time, it will break again one day. Acrobat DC is the current version, on subscription. Acrobat is the current version, on a perpetual license. But did you put on the fix we already recommended?
Adobe Acrobat X Pro I restarted with Acrobat DC subscription in April as additional installation. Last update Acr DC on May has been successful installed. Both Acr versions are still working. By the way: there is a possibility to repair an Acr installation Desperate last resort. I did install the update and that seems to have cured the problem. Leave it up to Billy to mess things up. After trying all sorts of other things, the update worked for me.
